This Privacy Policy describes how Daivik Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website at daivikstudio.comor place an order with us. This policy is in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”).

Information We Collect

When you place an order, we collect the following information solely to process and deliver it:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Delivery address (street, city, state, pincode)
  • Items ordered and order value

We do not collect passwords, financial card details, or any information not required to fulfil your order. Payments are processed via WhatsApp-confirmed bank transfers or UPI — we never store your payment credentials.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information only for:

  • Processing and dispatching your order
  • Sending your order confirmation (via email using Resend, and via WhatsApp)
  • Providing delivery tracking updates
  • Handling returns, exchanges, or any post-purchase support you request

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing. If we ever send promotional messages, they will be opt-in and you can opt out at any time.

How We Store Your Information

Order data (name, contact, address, items, total) is stored securely in our Supabase database, hosted on servers within the European Union. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only, protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) and environment-variable-controlled API keys. No credentials are stored in our codebase.

We retain order records for a period of 3 years to comply with applicable Indian taxation and business record-keeping requirements. After this period, records are deleted.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.

We share only the minimum information required with trusted service providers to fulfil your order:

  • Shipping partner: your name and delivery address, to deliver your parcel
  • Resend (email service): your email address and order summary, to send your order confirmation

These parties are contractually obligated to use your data only for the stated purpose and to protect it appropriately.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or a lawful request by Indian government authorities.

Cookies

Our website uses only essential session-level cookies required for the cart and checkout to function. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Withdraw consent for any non-essential use

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
